Free migration is available to new customers whose resulting infrastructure costs on Linode will exceed $500 per month. How do I apply for free migration?

Select the "Get Your Free Migration Today" button and enter your contact information and workload requirements into the request form. A Linode cloud consultant will contact you to discuss your current infrastructure and determine the right set of Linode Cloud resources.

What is the scope of a free migration?

A free migration includes up to 20 hours of work from our Professional Services team to migrate workloads resulting in infrastructure costs of $500 or more on Linode. If the project is estimated to take longer, the first 20 hours will be free and the remainder will be billed at an hourly rate.

What services can I migrate to Linode?

You can migrate linux based services from any existing cloud provider that has a similar offering on Linode. Bring over your e-commerce sites, logs, apps (Rails, Flask, Go, Django, PHP, etc.), cloud storage, and anything else you can run on a typical compute instance.

When can I expect a response?

Our team will be in contact within one business day, between the hours of 9:00AM ET and 5:00PM ET.

How long with the free migration take?

The timing of your migration is part of the discussion with your Linode infrastructure specialist. Our typical migrations take between 2-12 weeks for completion depending on the scope of your project. Start dates will be subject to demand and the capacity of our team.
