Privacy Shield Notice

Akamai has committed to continued compliance with its obligations under the Privacy Shield Program and ensures appropriate protection of the data transferred, notwithstanding the invalidation of the program by the Schrems II Judgement by the European Court of Justice in July 2021.

In case there will be a successor program, Akamai is ready to self-certify under this new program.

Akamai’s active data transfer mechanism(s) are described in Akamai’s Cross Border Data Transfer section in its Privacy Trust Center.
