The Philadelphia Business Journal’s Faces of Philanthropy awards recently recognized our partnership with Hopeworks. Other organizations recognized for their philanthropic work included the Philadelphia Eagles, Comcast, and Independence Blue Cross.
On average, youth entering Hopeworks make under $800 per year. Those who complete the Hopeworks program make, on average, $36,869 annually, with an almost 90% 12-month retention rate in their jobs. By opening up an entirely new training pathway for Hopeworks students, Linode has created a way to dramatically change the trajectory of the lives of these young people and their families.
“Many companies volunteer their time, as Linode has. Many companies donate money and other resources, as Linode has. Few, however, take the extra step that Linode has with Hopeworks, leveraging their expertise and gifts to create an entirely new pathway of possibilities for our young people. Linode truly is working to build a better world for our youth.” – Dan Rhoton, Executive Director, Hopeworks
We’re proud to support important causes and work done by organizations like Hopeworks to positively impact the bigger community around us.
